Roxy's guide to life: priorities

Life is not easy at times but if you know what is important life gives you a bit of a brake.
There are three things that you need to understand;

Needs
There are things that you can't live with out. REALLY REALLY can't live with out. These are things like  Food, water, shelter.  Things that you would really DIE without it or would be a  detriment to your life like eye glasses, electricity or clothes (does not need to be brand name just cover the skin).

Wants
Wants are things that are not needed but really be nice. Like new toys, MP3 players and new games. Sadly some wants get confused  with and needs. Take for example a 12 year old does not need to have a cell phone. They may seem to think they need one because everyone else has one, but it is not true.  IF they do need to have a electronic leash a basic phone will do not a smart phone.  Also things like T.V service, Internet and cellphone are also wants. You don't NEED them to live and it really is not a detriment to you life.

 last but not least

Appreciate what you got.
We all see things that we want and need but  it is true you don't know what you got till it is gone. why get a whole new game if you still have not played all the games that you got kind of thing. We get caught up with the whole keeping up with the Jone's that we don't have time to play with what we got. I don't know about you but I like to play with my toys and not replace them when something new comes out that a tiny, little bit better.

I guess what I am trying to say is that things may seem hard at times but remember, we did not always have the things we do now. computers would be some kind of spawn of devil him self and cell phones would make you look crazy (and not just blue tooth head set but the device it self).  Know what is imported and then go from there. Prioritize needs over want, and use what you got. It may not be the latest and greatest, but it is better then nothing at all.

Things I have learned from the internet.

Some may say I spend to much time on the internet, I am starting think I do. It is not a bad thing thou. I have learned many things, in unconverted ways. From sites like YouTube to 4chan you can learn stuff from making things DIY, to life lesson like how to deal in some kind of situation.

Forgiveness;Llamas with hats(2)  says it best  "forgiveness sounds like screaming and then silence".
 It is true too. To fight there is screaming, yelling then when you make up you don't say anything.

Love; It comes in many forms. Often confused as lust. There is some one out there that will love you for you some where. You just have to put some effort in to finding them.  Really does not matter how you look too.  If 4chan is any indication you could be literally a whale, dog, or even dead and some one will find you sexy. which made be realize, you don't need to look like the models in magazines. It just mean you appeal to 90%  of the people. Quality is more important then anything else really.

Bullying; I find my self looking at odd videos on the internet, case in point "Furniture Porn". I start on cat videos and end up in "that part of YouTube". We all been there, you can't lie ( I have scared people sometimes with what I find on YouTube). So when I find myself looking at bullying PSAs and such, it's not a surprise to me, it also makes me lose faith in humanity. Take for example a scene that plays out a lot in these psa's. The child is sitting at the computer when a window for a IM program comes up with the some stupid user name like "4EvErUrs". The message reading "OMG ur so ugly" the child looks sad and some kind of voice over starts with some stat of how many kids are bullied. What is wrong with this? Well other then the 1337 speak  that annoys the living hell out of me ( I know mine is bad but at lest I try to spell the word right)  I have a few questions. Why would you have them as some kind of contact more then needs be (aka msn/text)? Why would one care what the future kardashian want-to-be thinks of you? Why would one put so much effort in to trying to get in contact with some one you think is ugly?

To me it shows more about the person doing the bullying then the person being bullied. For example think of the steps to do some thing like this. First you have to make anther e-mail account, get the victim  to add you, take the time and wait for victim to log on then type stupid vague, horribly purposely miss spelled words to say  to the clones of the "popular" persons in school/work that you told that so called "loser" in a IM message in a vague, horribly purposely miss spelled fashion that they are ugly. If it sound redundant that is because it is. Why should I care what some  kardashian want-to-be thinks that I am ugly.  I like being "different" it means that I can think for myself. Also think about what Bill Gates or Steve Jobs went through when they were kids. Now it's not "cool" or dare I say "hip"  to own a Iwhatever  or not own a computer.  The same people that teased them  are probably using some product that they need in there dull, boring job as an insurance agent.  Remember that kid in school that was a "Geek", "Nerd" or other words really smart. They mite just be the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates.

 This may not mean much from some one who visits  the internet hate machine. but when you see a lot of it just makes me wonder what this bully's think they trying to get accomplished by showing there vague, horribly purposely miss spelled insults. At the end of the day  there nothing more then an opinion expressed by the closed minded, ill educated clones of mass media celebrities.  thus meaning nothing to me, and more of a cry for help on there end.

I would like to thank you for reading my post and or posts. I know there is better things that one could do with your time but I appreciate every second that I get of your time. Thanks but now it is time to look on the dark underbelly of the internet and/or play a game of LoL.
